We’re counting down the weeks until the springtime release of the brand new Do IT platform.

The Do IT you love plus so much more!

We’ve built the new platform from the ground up, ensuring that it offers volunteer recruiters everything they have come to know and love about Do IT packaged in an engaging, easy to use, interface.

The new Do IT places the volunteer at the heart of the platform, enabling them to build their volunteering experience around their personal aspirations and goals, providing you with even better quality matches. Volunteers will be able to share their experiences and stories, inspiring others to build a national community through doing good together.

You’ll find an enhanced data dashboard giving access to key stats at a glance, so you can see which opportunities are the most popular and which volunteers are the most active, making it even easier to plan and manage your recruitment. We’ve added new data streams too that will help you understand what motivates your volunteers and how they are benefitting from the experience, giving you valuable insight into the link between volunteering and social wellbeing.

Plus we’ve added some brand new features, including:

Access professional skills

For the past 18 months the Do IT team have been setting up partnerships with employers, including BT and Simplyhealth, who are using Do IT to connect their workforce with the community. This means that you will be able to access over 100,000 skilled volunteers through the new Do IT, with more to come as we expand our partnerships

Swipe to find your perfect volunteer match

With our new connect cards launching in the summer, we’ve made it even easier to find the volunteers that you need. Browse profiles in your area based on the skills, experiences and time availability you need and send your opportunities direct - if they say yes then it’s a match!

Reward and recognise your volunteers

Our new social currency provides an easy way to say thank you to your volunteers. Launching later in 2020, we’ll be teaming up with a range of experience providers that volunteers can choose from or pass on as a donation to your charity or another cause of their choosing

Excited? Here’s what happening next

In April we’ll be sending you an invite to try out the new Do IT in beta. You’ll be able to set up an organisation profile and see what the new platform offers. You can even post a few opportunities on the beta site which will be live for volunteers to apply to. This will give you some time to try out the new Do IT and give us some feedback.
